Psst.
I think I finally have all the writing done for issue 2 of I'm in love again. I'm going to start working on the flats tonight and who knows, maybe by tomorrow I might be ready to do my first copy run.
It's very exciting. Heh. I think this is going to be a good issue. It seems to be a lot more together than the first one, though I think that's to be expected since I'm still so new to zining. Each issue is going to be better than the next. Yes sir.
Today has been pretty laid back. I woke up at 7:30 and had a meeting with my drawing instructor at 10:30. We had to pick out works for the Foundation Show (next week kiddos!) and I officially have one of my drawings going up in the exhibition. I'm a little nervous about it but whatever. It's just a drawing, it's not like I'm standing up there nude or anything.
My instructor seems to be really pleased with my work, saying stuff like "You're really taking off this semester," and "There's no stopping you, is there?". He's such an encouraging teacher. I can't believe I've been so blessed with good teachers this year. It's amazing.
Anyway, the most eventful thing of the day was going to Value Village earlier this afternoon and actually finding something good.
Finally, my wardrobe is getting a bit more sass. I will go again next week and continue the hunt for the perfect summer wardrobe.
This has been a rather pointless entry, a nice change from the mess that my head has been in lately. I'm going to work on my flats tonight and possibly watch a movie. But first I'm going to organize my sorry excuse for a closet.
