2003-05-07 - 12:21 am I think I finally sewn/crafted myself to the point of mental exhaustion and the terrible thing is that there is still so much that has to be done by the end of the week for sure. Primarily knitting and a few more purses to be made. Sure, it's awesome to be so productive 24/7 but I think I've finally worn myself thin for today. No more sewing. No more knitting. No more doing anything but sitting here and burning cd's.
I came home and after eating a dinner of garlic bread and two full glasses of cranberry juice, I prompty fell asleep completely under a blanket until Dad came home and tapped me on the head. I always get so sleepy whenever I eat a lot rather quickly; it's Thanksgiving Dinner Syndrome only it happens every second day instead of once a year. Though, I'm still hesitant to decide whether eating myself sleepy is a good thing or not. Heh. Tonight has been rather laid back. A 30 minute run on the treadmill, a 40 minute bath with my book, and then packaged up an order that needs to be shipped out this week. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I should be doing anything else but I'm hesitant (again) to start anything that I won't be able to finish tonight. Blah, blah, blah. This all sounds extremely boring. Heh. How about a list of exciting things? 1. I get to meet Catherine and her boyfriend Mike tomorrow night after work. After years of following her websites I get to finally put a person to an URL. 2. I get paid on Friday. WOOHOO! 3. Amanda arrives in less than a month and this is so tremendously exciting that I could pee my pants. We've already loosely planned a day trip to Edmonton to scope out West Edmonton Mall for some serious sale shopping and people watching. I'm just really excited about going on a mini road trip with her! YAY! 4. Mom comes home soon too for Matthew's graduation and I'm very excited to have her back here even if it is for only a few days. 5. Austin is here in just over a month. I can't even put into words how excited I am aside from making uncomprehendable EEEEEEEEEE sounds while jumping up and down like a fool. 6. My bed has been so comfortable this week. Sleep will be good tonight.
