I just woke up and have been called into work early. Normally I wouldn't stand for that kind of last minute shit but I really need the money so I'm going to do it.
But that also means I have to condense all the things I was going to get done this afternoon. Oh well. I think I've handbagged myself out for the rest of the week anyway. I get paid tomorrow so I may purchase some new fabrics and start in again next week but who knows. I think I may just wait to send out the first batch before I send anymore.
Really, I don't want to get too deep into this because I will be leaving for three weeks in July and won't be able to do any orders or ship anything out during that time. I'm nutorious for digging myself a hole so deep that I can't get out of it without screaming and walking away.
Last night I met up with Catherine and Mike, kids visiting from Winnipeg, along with the usual crew at Vicious Circle. It was awesome meeting Catherine after four/five years of following her websites and only really knowing her through online diaries and such. It was a bit surreal but excellent all the same. We're all meeting up again on Friday to do something during the day - what I'm not sure but we'll see.
Amanda arrives in about three weeks. We have a plan to drive to Edmonton for the day and I'm excited. So excited that I've been having dreams about her, and Austin too for that matter.
But now I must get my ass in gear.
