I'm too tired to write a lengthy entry about my first day back at college so instead I will list events in point form.
- I have three good friends who are also in 2nd year Fibre and are in the majority of my Fibre classes.
- One of the girls I met briefly last year came back pregnant! She's the cutest pregnant girl I've ever seen (she was wearing a black slip dress, black capris and cream Chuck Taylors and had the most adoreable belly).
- There are official no males in the Fibre Department. One of them graduated last year and the other transferred to painting.
- Intro to Weaving will be a tough and intense course. I will be impressed if I'm capable of keeping my head high enough above insanity that I will do a good job and get a good grade. I'm already thinking about my first assignment (Focus on the colour grid using tabby weave to "draw" in sequence using any materials).
- I met a lot of fine ladies that were in my classes last year and they all appear to be more remarkable than I remember them. I'm so happy I've surrounded myself with such creative, fabulous and intelligent people.
I'm tired already.
